For the experience, I let you stay a little longer than I would’ve preferred

For the time being, your presence was nice

But it never extended further than just that

You stayed, and that was that

It made me angry that you stayed

Overstaying your welcoming

Stretching and curling your toes out on this well made bed

Watching my tv and

Eating out my fridge!

like you staying was enough to gain these privileges

I should’ve never left the door open for you

Your helping hand was really nothing but an open hand

You just needed a place to stay

and for a second, that’s when I realized
